Thanks to Bud Connelly and Jess Galbreath, I was a competitor and a working producer in rodeo for twenty eight years.
I have been an assistant rodeo producer, announced rodeos, coached high school and college rodeo, taught rodeo schools, judged, competed in various events (like the wild horse race) and specialized as a bull rider and a bareback rider.
I spent some time in Nashville, TN in the early 90’s recording an album and learning to write songs. As time went on I ended up performing at the Cowboy Songs program in Cody, Wyoming. From Cody, I was invited to play at the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering program in Elko, Nevada. In 2004 I performed at the Smithsonian in Manhattan, NY.

I spent a few years in LA but lately I’ve been performing in the bay area of San Francisco, CA. So far, I’ve played all across the States, and I still enjoy it! “Do what you love and love what you do.”
